Terms of Use

The Mosaic Crochet Toolkit is designed specifically for mosaic overlay crochet and provides tools to help users plan and manage mosaic overlay crochet projects.

Features may include blanket-size calculations, pattern resizing, project storage, row tracking, notes, gauge information, yarn and hook details, project photographs and, for eligible Pro accounts, private PDF upload and viewing.

The calculations and row-tracking features are designed around the mosaic overlay crochet technique and may not be suitable for other crochet methods.

A Free account currently includes access to the toolkit calculators and allows the user to save one project, including row tracking, notes and cloud saving.

Pro currently provides unlimited saved projects together with Pro features including the ability to upload and privately store the user's own pattern PDFs, including written instructions and charts, and view those PDFs inside the toolkit.

A Pro subscription does not include crochet patterns.

Founding Pro Monthly — £2.99/month
Founding members keep the £2.99 monthly rate while their subscription remains continuously active.

Standard Pro Monthly — £3.49/month
This becomes the monthly price for new subscribers after the founding offer closes.

Pro Annual — £29.99/year
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled.

Switching between monthly and annual billing does not remove founding-member status while the subscription remains continuously active.

If a founding member cancels or allows their subscription to lapse and later rejoins, the current subscription price at that time will apply.

Payments are processed by Stripe.

The subscription price, billing frequency and relevant renewal information are shown before purchase and within the user's account where applicable.

The Pattern Scribe does not store full payment-card details.

Users may cancel their Pro subscription using the subscription-management options available through their account.

Where cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period, Pro access continues until that date.

Existing saved projects, row progress, notes and previously stored files will remain available where the toolkit permits, but users cannot create additional Pro-only content beyond the Free-plan allowance without an active Pro subscription.

Statutory consumer rights are not affected.

Users may upload photographs, pattern PDFs, charts and project information for their own private project-management purposes.

Users retain ownership of files that belong to them.

Users must only upload files they are legally entitled to possess and use.

The toolkit must not be used to distribute copyrighted pattern files to other people.

The Pattern Scribe does not claim ownership of user-uploaded project files.

Users are responsible for keeping their password secure and must not allow other people to access their account using their login details.

Users must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to another person's account, interfere with the service, misuse uploaded files, bypass Free/Pro restrictions or circumvent payment controls.

The calculators and sizing tools are designed specifically for mosaic overlay crochet and provide estimates based on information supplied by the user.

Crochet tension, yarn, hook size, technique and other factors can affect finished measurements.

Results should therefore be treated as planning guidance rather than a guarantee of finished project dimensions.

Reasonable efforts will be made to keep the toolkit working reliably, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.

Maintenance, updates, technical problems or circumstances outside reasonable control may temporarily affect availability.

The toolkit may be updated or improved over time. Features may be added, amended or removed where reasonably necessary to operate, secure or improve the service.

Significant changes affecting paid subscriptions will be communicated appropriately.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where doing so would be unlawful.

To the extent permitted by law, The Pattern Scribe is not responsible for crochet materials wasted, incorrect finished dimensions or other losses resulting solely from reliance on calculations where gauge, information supplied or real-world crochet results differ.

Statutory consumer rights are not affected.

Users may stop using the toolkit at any time and may contact The Pattern Scribe to request deletion of their account or personal information, subject to records that must legally be retained.
